Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
if i had a felony charge and it states closed what does that mean? how can it be dismissed?

I would need more facts to properly answer your question. But I am assuming that the prosecutor decided not to pursue the case. ONLY the prosecutor's office can dismiss felony charges before a court date has been set. It is possible that they felt they didn't have enough evidence to find you guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. You should talk to an attorney just to be sure.
