Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have a felony conviction from 30 years ago. My son is 20 years old and living at home and is studying to be in law enforcement. He wants to own a hand gun. Can I have one at the house if my son locks it in a safe and I have no access to it?
Thanks

This is a tricky question. In theory yes your son could have the gun if there is no way you could get access to it, meaning a locked safe that you can not get into. Just be extremely careful because law enforcement will likely not side with you if they are ever in your home.
