Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
felony escape
My spouse was arrested on a warrant from 1975, for escaping while on work release. She was serving time for purgering her testimony in a 1st degree murder trial. I believe she was in fear for her life from the suspect/friends who was convicted for the crime and received life without parole. She's being held/no bond. She has never been in any more trouble, and has been a positive influence on everyone she meets. Is there any chance of getting her released due to the circumstances in the initial trial?
