felony
i pled no contest to three charges.the only reason i did is because i could not afford a lawyer.They gave me two years probation,50 com hours an pay the money back.totaling $3965.74.The charges was grand theft,uttering forgery,scheme defraud.I did not know that the checks was no good.I called the bank an tried to make a payment plan when i found out that they was no good.I even went to the police station on my own.I did not do this on purpose .These are all felony charges.I just think i got to much at the sentencing.What should i do?I have thrity days to appeal

YOu would have to withdraw the plea and proceed totrial. There is no guarantee you would do better. The chances of being alllowed to withdraw your plea are very low.

If you wish to explore other options as a sentence, you may be able to withdraw your plea and re-set it for a future court date. Ask for a Public Defender appointment to assist you in the process.
