Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My fiance is in jail because the mother of his kids charged him with kidnapping, and 2 charges of battery. Now if she is dropping charges how long would it take to drop the charges in the state of Florida? What has to be done to drop the charges?

Can someone get charged for black maling?

Just because the mother wants to drop charges doesn't mean the state has to drop the charges, so there is no time limit. In fact, oftentimes they proceed anyway especially when it involves family members. The best way to drop the charges, is to hire an attorney to speak on your fiance's behalf with the prosecutor.
