Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My fiance signed a lease purchase agreement on a home worth over a million dollars and was fully furnished. The owner of the home died due to illness and the wife commited suicide then my ex was arrested on a business deal that went bad. There is no bail for him at this point. I am not sure what to do as I was left to do with all this! I had to encure the cost of moving and have no furniture since I sold and gave away mine. I am not sure if there was a will I know there is alos another million dollar home involved and the family left behind are in a legal mess feom both sides of the family ..they were a second marriage. Everything went to an estate and attorneys are involved but they are out of state due to the family. The couple who died had this as a vacation home. If I remove a few items to make up for my loss is it a criminal defense?

What you really mean to ask is whether it is ok to steal from a family that is better off than you because you have had a rough time of it? You should be ashamed of yourself for even asking this question, since you already knew the answer. Theft is theft, no matter how rough your life has been, or how wealthy the victims were.
