Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Hi, I had a fight with my dad's girlfriend two days ago, after that she called the police. The police didn't arrest me. Now she is going to the court and wants judge to give me an restraining order to leave my house and the place she works at which is my dad's restaurant. She is illegal to stay in the U.S. and the only income she has is from my father. That's the mean reason she stay with him. And I'm pretty she doesn't have money to hire an lawyer.
Me and she were both injured during the fight, she got swelling cheek and I got a lot screeches on my body we both took photos. There is no evidence about who start the fight first.
So is it possible I sue her first? Because if she sue me first and if she win I might can't go back to my house. Which is under me and my father's name and we both paid when we bought it.
Can I report her illegal stay in the u.s.? From my knowledge, the immigration office won't pay attention on her, is there any way to get their attention on her?
