Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
filing a motion
i just found out i have a bench warrant from 10 years ago they told me in order to take care of it i had to go to the court to file a motion to set the warrant aside can i be arrested when i go to file the motion or will they actually give me a day to see the judge this was for disorderly conduct

You or preferably your attorney needs to file a motion to recall the warrant with the clerk. You need to get a date for hearing from the judges assistant and give notice to the State Atty. When you appear for hearing the judge can grant your motion or arrest you on the warrant. You really should have a lawyer do this.
