Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I'm trying to find out if my husband is allowed to accompany me and our son to boys scout meetings in the school cafeteria after school. From what the state of FL tells me he is a released registered sex offender and has no laws stating he can not be near children in any way. During his last visit to check in for his registry he is told about F.S. 856.022 and convicted offenders are not allowed at all on school property. From what I red though it says during school operation and my husband's adjudication was with held which from what I read means he was not convicted. I'm so confused i what we are allowed to do here. This was all a result of a bad divorce from his ex 17 tears ago when she accused him of something he didn't do. Please let me know what you can. My family needs answers. Thank you
