Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

i was fired from Winn Dixie for using 21$ of manufacturer coupons on people that were short on change over an 8 month period. Im 17 years old never been in any legal trouble. But they are saying i may have to go to court, i was being stupid and thought a dollar here and there wouldn't catch up to me

Obviously it is a big deal. If the police try and talk to you then you should politely tell them that you want a lawyer and invoke your rights. Anything you say to them will be used against you. No, they won't let you go if you're just honest. As a juvenile, you could be arrested and charged with a crime but you would go through the juvenile justice system. If you get charged, do yourself a favor and hire an attorney.
