Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Florida Statute: 813.13 (6A)
How can this Florida Statute which is - Drugs- Possesion- Controlled Substance w/o prescription, be turned into a meth possession?? How do the two go hand in hand? Do they give out scripts for meth? I thought that was a pill charge??

The Drug Statute is all encompassing regarding drugs which can be obtained legally and illegally.
You can't possess a drug without a prescription if it is a prescription drug. This is felony possession of a drug without a prescription (Xanax, etc.) Even if you could get a script for meth, you would need to produce the script to that you possessed it legally.
