florida statutory rape laws
i am 19, live in florida, and my sisters boyfriend family claims that i slept with thier 16 year old son. can i be charged with statutory rape? and can i sue any of them for defemation of character?

Yes you can be charged with sexual battery and although you could try to sue them, no lawyer would take the case because you wouldnt win.

No, you cannot be charged. See Florida Statute 794.05
