in florida do you have to do thirty days in jail on a violation of probabtion?

The judge has discretion to do anything from terminating your probation to giving you the maximum penalty you could have received for the first offense. In other words, if you were charged with a third degree felony, then you face up to 5 years prison. Or if you were charged with a 1st time DUI, then you face up to 6 months jail. So unless you had a suspended sentence there is not magic number of days in jail that are required.
