Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

forged checks

my former girlfriend forged my checks, i learned some of the checks were for household bills that i benefitted from and am not pursuing that. In Oct. i was informed she was at the bank trying to cash a check ( she had forged my name) when she came back home i told her i wanted her out and she wouldnt leave until i signed a paper saying i would not prosecute her for the check and she admitted to 2 other checks. i wrote her a note and said ALL checks. I also learned she had done identity theft to my parents of over 10 thousand dollars and needed her out fast. i soon learned she had forged about 20 checks of mine for cash. Do I have a case against her even though I wrote out a note?

Yes, she can still be prosecuted. You need to contact the State Attorney's Office. Good luck.
