Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Found a lottery ticket in parking lot of my apartments. put in my purse, forgot about it until i changed purses. it was a 1000 winner, since i did not know who it belonged to i cashed it in. now the person who originally bought ticket is threatening to charge me with grand theft, saying it was stolen. can they do this ... i live in florida.

How are they going to prove you stole it? Yes, it is possible to charge you, but difficult to convict you based on what you stated so far. You should call an attorney in your area so that it doesn't go much further.
