Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I found this statement on a prison website: "Once you file for clemency you are done in court, even if there are changes in the laws that you can take advantage of." Is this true?

No, clemency is not always the final dart left to throw. There are many ways that a case can still be overturned, not only if the law changes but if new evidence is found or if the original sentence was illegally imposed by the Court.
