Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Hello when my Friday was 17 he was charged with 3 counts of armed robbery he was given 2 year in prison and 4 year’s probation. He VOP 2 times the 1st time was for possession Cannabis he was sentence 30days ..now a year later he VOP with the same possession of cannabis he is now 21 years old he had court today and they talked about giving him 11year..Is this likely to happen?

The judge has the right to sentence him to the full amount he could have originally given him. Armed robbery is punishable by life on each count, so 11 years is not unheard of. The only limitation is if he was originally sentenced as a youthful offender, then the judge is limited to 6 years prison. You should talk to his attorney to find out what is likely to happen.
