Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I have a friend who got arrested for domestic violence but the person who charged him lied and was never touched by this person is there anyway my friend can request for a lie detector test for himself and the accuser? or what can he do to prove the other person wrong because for Fact the person lied on him. Can he go for false accusations or what should we do?

Your friend can go to trial with a good attorney who will be able to properly cross examine the witness and expose the lies. That is the best way to expose false accusations. Obviously your friend needs to talk and explain all this with his attorney.
