Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
A friend of mine was accused of sexual battery. So far evidence is saying diffrent. He has gone for a bond reduction however new and important evidence have sice arisen. There was no semen found in the victims vagina, the victim had an STD the accused do not. With this evidence can he go for another bond reduction? The bond is at was at 100,000 now it is at 50,000 and that was in December.

Maybe your friend was wearing a condom. The facts that you cite do not necessarily establish innocence or warrant a bond reduction.
I don't think there's enough there to allow a new bond hearing. However, he is going to need good legal representation. If there is evidence that can help him, then his attorney can fight the state saying that the evidence doesn't help his case. It's open to interpretation from the state and defense and a good attorney can poke holes in the state's evidence. If he can afford an attorney he should seek one.
