Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Hello. I have a friend (over 18) that posted an ad on Craigslist offering to do chores or odd jobs for money. Someone (also over 18) offered to pay him money if he could watch my friend masturbate at his house. He's thinking about doing it. Would this be illegal on either of their parts? Would it be considered prostitution?

Yes it could be considered prostitution, even though both parties are consenting. Furthermore, your friend could be the subject of a sting operation so it is best to avoid this.
