Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
A friends was charged with felony grand theft and was placed on deferred prosecution, a few months later the person got a felony DUI with bodily injury and a felony wreckless driving with serious injury. It has not gone to trial yet but what is a likely outcome?

The theft charge deferred prosecution will be revoked and he will have to go back to court to deal with it. On the DUI and reckless driving charge, he is undoubtedly facing jail or possibly prison. It's impossible to say how much time without knowing all the facts and his background. I would assume he has an attorney so this should be taken up with his attorney.
