Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Help on geting court transcripts
I paid an Attorney to represent me in court for Probation violation. Attorney never showed up in court and sends another lawyer who had no knowledge of the case. I understood I was sentenced to a drug rehab for 28 days by the judge, thus, accepted the charge however its been over 3/months; and Im still in the rehab facility. My Lawyer will not respond to any calls or send the court transcripts; he told me he was going to get for me, so that I can have prove that the judge sentenced was for only 28/days. The case now has been closed and I cannot get a public defender. I paid 1500 to this ''attorney'', thus, I have no more money to hire another. I have no way to turn, and I need information of what I can do to know exactly what will be my next step. I need the court transcripts, however I cannot call the courts due to the fact that I have limited phone privileges (10 mins) and I cannot stay on hold waiting for someone to help me. I need help getting the court transcripts.
Thanking you in advance

Re: Help on geting court transcripts
I think you may have misunderstood the sentence. Dont waste your time and money on transcripts. Write the attorney and if that doesnt work you can write the court. He knows what he said, he doesnt need proof.
