Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Can my girlfriend be charged with domestic violence if we don't live together in Florida. Looking at the statute it seems as though if we don't live together it doesn't meet that threshold. Ty for the help

Yes, if there is a dating relationship, then the statute could still apply. You should have an attorney evaluate your girlfriend's arrest affidavit to see if there are any other defenses.
