Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
if I were to give missleading information on a food stamp application, be granted 188$, and then use it before being discovered, what legal punishments might I be facing today?

Food stamp fraud is a felony which could mean up to 5 years prison. If you were improperly granted money, even if it was their fault, you are not entitled to keep it, and you will be charged. Before it goes further, talk to the government agency and explain that they may have made a mistake and you want to make sure it is well and you may be able to stay out of trouble on this.
