Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Good Morning,

I recently started editing emails for a company in Turkey. I'm a bit concerned about my rights doing this and the contents of the emails. I don't believe there's anything bad being discussed, but I don't have all the information. If it were to turn out that there's more to the emails than I thought, would I be held accountable? I'm simply editing for them and sending the information back when I'm done.

Thanks

Mags

Criminal law is all about criminal intent. If you intended anything illegal, then you can be held responsible. Of course, since you are dealing with international concerns, the feds have rules regarding national security. I suggest you talk to an attorney in person, that way the information will remain confidential and not discussed on a public forum.
