i bought stolen property and now i being charged for the crime i was told by a lawyer that it would be in best interest if i accept the deal to do tpi probation and i would close case with the DA and not plee not guilty or guilty but is that still mean i have a felony or effect me joing the military thanks

Hi:

If you are represented by counsel these questions should be presented to him and he should give you a written response. If you have any thoughts about joining the military you should make sure about this issue. In fact, you might call the local military recruiter and ask him this question in a hypothetical presentation.
