Grand Thef
i got charged with grand theft or larc theft ($300 or more less than $5000) its my first offense i never had even a speeding ticket or anything else i also was in the marines the question is will i do time? what will happen

There are number of issues that will be looked at by the Court in order to decide your sentence. Prior offenses, the victim, whether the money has been paid back, etc.
I suggest that you talk to your attorney and see what he or she thinks is likely to happen!
Your military record is one of the things that the Court can look at when deciding your sentence. If you have an honorable discharge from the Marines, that won't hurt!
If for some reason you do not yet have an attorney, you need to get one! This is too important of a matter for you to try and go it alone!
