grand theft...
this will be the 3rd offense, two previous petty thefts in 05. now two grand thefts from his employer. what kind of time is he looking at for this he returned the stolen laptop but already sold the other things?

Tough to say. It depends on which judge and prosecutor he ends up with. He needs a good lawyer right away.
