Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Granddaughter charged w/felonygrandtheft
my granddaughter has been arrested and charged w/felony grand theft. i'm in Indianapolis and i'm not familiar with flordia law. her bond is $5000 which requires 10% but I also have to show collateral of $5000 in a bank account. what should I do as far as posting bond, is there any bail bond office in panama city beach that will do the bond w/o collateral? also, what can we expect from this charge, she does not have a criminal record and was a student in college at the time of her arrest. she admitted to finding a purse in class and taking the money, so the money was returned to the victim. i need help asap as she's alone with nearest relative in jacksonville, fl. thank you

Re: Granddaughter charged w/felonygrandtheft
I CANNOT SPEAK FOR BOND AGENTS IN PANAMA CITY. YOU WOULD HAVE TO CALL AROUND OR JUST POST THE 5000 IN CASH AND AVOID A BONSMAN. I IMAGINE SHE FACES PROBATION AND RESTITUTION. IF I CAN HELP PLEASE CALL FOR AN APPT 561-659-9410
