My grandson is in a Florida jail. His car has been stolen. He wants me to get a power of attorney so that I can report his car as stolen. Is this possible under the new power of attorney law?

Yes. Your grandson would have to sign the POA in the presence of two witnesses and a notary public. If he is in Lee County, I can prepare the POA and assist in its execution.
