What would happen to a juvenile who sexted at the age of 13 to another person, that means sent a picture of their genitals to that person, with no previous criminal records this meaning punishments?

There is the potential that you could face both state and federal child pornography charges; and the person that received the text could be charged with possession of child pornography. Both are felonies punishable by up to 15 years in prison as an adult or 6 years as a juvenile. Additionally, there is the likelihood of having to register as a sexual offender.
