Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
being held w/o bond
defendent is arrested Lee county for trafficing and is bonded out. He is then transferred to Collier County for VOP and is denied bond because of the severity of the charges in Lee County. Can he be held indefinitely in Collier until the charges in Lee are resolved even if he is bonded out of Lee?

I would need to know a little more about the case to give you a better answer. I am guessing that the new trafficking case is what violated his probation.. to some degree it depends on the type of charge that first placed him on probation.
