Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My husband applied for a job and they did a background check . They said they found an active warrant for July 2007, for a bad check in Florida. But he never received any notice from the court. what should we do now. He found this out yesterday.

It is possible that the case can be dismissed but you need to hire an attorney to file the right kind of motion. Talk to an attorney in the area where this check originated. You should also know that his license is probably suspended for failing to appear as well, so I suggest you get an attorney as soon as possible.
