Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My husband got arrested for dui first offense on october 2009 case still pending he was only 1 point above legal alcohol level but rease he got arrested was also because he was driving while his license was suspended. Public defender is saying that he will need to do 30 days jail time because of prior driver's license suspension (drug charge). Is that true? I mean he already served his time for that incidence (2 yrs) and is now paying off his tickets, isn't there another alternatives? Community service, house arrest? Please help his next calendar call is this friday 03/26/2010
