Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my husband was arrested in Florida on probation violation, while at the county jail it turns out he also has a failure to appear warrent for an nearly 8 year old violation of probation in Massachusetts... He has since been sentenced in Florida and waived his extradition to Mass immediately over 2 months ago... my question is how long does mass have to come get him and will any of the time he is serving in Florida count toward any time he may own mass since he did not contest the extradition?

Mass. has 30 days once he waives his extradition rights. The time here should count towards any senetnece he may receive there but you need to talk to a Mass attorney.
