My husband has a case in florida but we live in ga. Is there a such thing as have a lawyers represent you without having to go to court?

That depends on several factors. Are the charges misdemeanors or felonies? If they're felonies, the possibility of being required to appear in court increases, whereas misdemeanors can be resolved by way of a written plea, so long as the parties can agree to the terms. Keep in mind that a lawyer has the ability to waive your appearance at certain stages of the case by filing the appropriate paperwork.
