Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my husband has been charged wit domestic violence and i have not given a statement saying this occurred , i told the officer he did not hit but has in the past. They checked me for bruises and so on found nothing and they questioned witnesses and were told he did not assult me. The report says they have no wittnesses or statement and no physical evidence so why is he in jail. i did make the statement that he tried to jump on me but i left the home so he never engaged any bodily harm to me. In past issues I have said he didnt assult me when he hadbut, they had pictures to support this and i have given staements but this time he did not. What can I do?

He probably should not be in jail, but he is. You said he tried to jump you. The cops probably charged him at least with assault. Get him a lawyer ASAP.
