Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My ex husband is a habitual offender - he has more than 4 charges of felony theft on his record. On 2/12/10 he commited yet again another one. he always seem to get away with this. he was bailed out by his mother and on 4/14/10 they were to go back to court for case management. Online it said that on that date he promised and acknoledged to appear? What does that mean?

It means that he acknowledged (he said, "Yes I understand.") and promised he would appear: show up to court just like everyone is supposed to do.
