Your husband faces a minimum mandatory sentence of three years on the Marion County hydrocodone trafficking charge. That means if he took a plea now without the state waiving the min/man the court would have no discretion to give any less than three years. Of course he could be sentenced to up to 30 years as trafficking of any amount over 4 grams is a 1st degree felony. Typically in these cases you don't go over the 3 years. He faces possible additional time for his other charges from out of county. It would be wise to get an attorney that will be able to work both cases in the different counties to try to work it out so doesn't have to suffer the possibility of doing time in one county and then get transported to the other and do additional time.
