Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My husband is indebted to a woman for $50,000 taken as a promissory note in Florida under his personal name to launch a series of events, which took substantial losses. Since then, she has filed a judgment against him and he is now making monthly payments to her. She came into our place of business this evening to demand more money. She wants to purchase a life insurance policy on him and we refused. This made her more irate and she then proceeded to throw out comments that she can end him "if she wants to" and because this was something she worded in that manner she doesn't see this as a threat. She said she has people who can kill him if she decides that's what she wants. She said she can ruin his business if she decides to. I stated that those were very serious threats. She stated they were not threats. Her reasoning was that it's the same as if she wants to buy a sandwich if she wants to, but she doesn't want to and she doesn't see a difference. She had a man with her and he was holding what appeared to be a cell phone. As she walked out, she stated that our conversation was recorded. This lady is seriously unstable and I would like to apply for a restraining order, but all I see online is information about domestic violence restraining orders. Any direction you can provide us is greatly appreciated.

If the person has made more than one threat and had the ability to carry it out, then you could file a motion for protection from repeat violence. It may be helpful to get an attorney for this.
