Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My husband is currently in jail for Violation of Drug Offender Probation. He was arrested for a battery charge ( that was on me ), but it was dropped. I did although write out a statement stating " that i got up to get away from my husband and he banged my head on the wall and dresser". When I went to the State Attorney to have charges dropped she brought that statement out and I honestly don't remember writing that, but I was trying to get the police to leave and everything to cool down because it was a huge misunderstanding and I didn't want to press charges. I talked to my husbands probation officer and she told me that she violated him for getting arrested on the battery charge, but also issued a second violation for not paying enough cost of supervision. So, I went out made a money order of all the money to be paid and got a copy showing that his batter charge was dismissed and she said that she doesn't mind him being reinstated on probation. What do you think is going to happen? Is a Public Defender going to get my innocent husband out of jail, he shouldn't have even went in to jail for a day, let alone a whole month waiting for a trial on a case that got dropped. I just really want to know what steps I can take to get him out of jail as soon as possible.

You've taken many of the steps you need to do. You need to make sure and stay in contact with his lawyer. Only his lawyer will be able to file the proper motions or have the proper hearing which will get him released.
