Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

husband was suppose to be going to trial. the state postponed jury selection/trial twice already. the final pretrial was the 14th of this month and jury selection was suppose to be on the 19th but the state "strike" the jury selection and arranged him a regular courtdate. however, his co defendent's lawyer suppressed all evidence a week ago. basically, i want to no what does "strike" jury selection mean and why my husband jury selection has been striked when jis co defendent is proceeding to juryselection/trial?
