Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My husbands lawyer went to court for him today an waived his right to a speedy trial knowing that he didnt want his right waived otherwise he would have done it himself.
How can we get this reversed?
What can we do?
How can someone waive his right without his consent and against his wishes?
What can I do?
Please please help..

Unless your husband wants to represent himself, the attorney has the right to do this. However, your husband can talk to his attorney about demanding speedy trial which can be done at any time. There are pros and cons to doing so though, so make sure he discusses with his attorney.
