Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

ihave the choice of getting adjudication withheld and probation for a robbery charge but can be subject to deportation in fl.. i dont want this on my record forever.. its my first time what should i do

Robbery is the type of charge that will stay on your record forever. Additionally, a withhold of adjudication means nothing to ICE so if you plea guilty or no contest, you could still be deported. Talk to your attorney about other options and you should also consult with an immigration attorney.

For purposes of immigration a withhold won't matter, however, it isn't a bad outcome if you are a citizen. If they are willing to do a withhold a pretrial intervention program may not be out of the question. Upon completion the charge would be dismissed and you shouldn't have any immigration problems.
