Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Is it illegal for a detective to come to your house and throw some alleged charges in your face and ask you to be a CI in order to make those charges disappear. Also this is before the state attorney even knew of any charges, and he told me i can't contact anyone not even a lawyer about the situation

Illegal, questionable. Improper, definitely. In fact if they were to get evidence as a result of this conversation, then it would probably be inadmissible. They can't restrict your access to an attorney. They can't make you be a CI. They can use their power, SOLELY AT THEIR DISCRETION, to make charges go away. They can also decide to pursue charges even if you do help. Tread very carefully and hire an attorney.
