Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
illegal search
My kids father has been arrested and is currently in jail. He was arrested on a warrant for kidknapping on which the charges have been dropped however when they arrested him the police went into an apartment without a search warrant and seized a gun and cocaine and have charged him with possesion it was not his residence and they arrested him in an area close to the apartment would this be considerd an illegal search?
