Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
An injunction was recently placed against my husband by his brother due to an altercation. One place that was meant to be listed in the injunction was our local hospital where his brother's girlfriend works (in the ER.) However, his brother placed the wrong address on the injunction. The girlfriend also took one out the same day, but it has yet to be served. My question is, I'm am due for a C-Section in a week and since the girlfriend works in the ER will that violate the injunction since my husband will be present at the hospital? Or is it even legal to keep a person from a hospital... Especially in this case?

Legal? That's a close call. In theory yes, but the hospital can't deny you medical care, including your husband. You may want to file a motion to modify the terms of the injunction to clarify this.
