inmate property
my husband has been in prison in miami fl for 1 year and i'm still trying to get his property which encludes some $4000.00 BSD he has just been move to Georgia. he has receive injury to his ankle some 8 months ago and still awaiting medical assistance. How long do prisoners wait for med attention?

Generally, medical attention is given immediately when requested. If your husband is not receiving the proper assistance, then he needs to make a formal request. In the worst case scenario, he should contact the attorney who represented him at trial and ask for the attorney to write a letter to the court demanding medical assistance.

If an inmate requires medical care, the jail usually provides it if necessary. They might feel his condition is not serious. I would contact the lawyer, the judge and the jail with letters demanding help. I dont know wahat bsd is. Contact the jail or police holding the money to find out what you need to do to get it back.
