Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
You have instructions to throw out an object. Instead of discarding it you take it home. The item was going to be thrown out if you were there or not. It just never touched the dumpster. The company considers it stealing. Does the law consider it stealing?
I work at a dvd rental company. The items i refer to are dvds.

I say no and there is some law supporting me. If it was trash, and you broke no laws getting to it, it's yours.
