Internet Harrasment

My brother had a friend come over one night and hang out with him and his boyfriend. The person that came over was drinking and smoking weed at the main house so me and my roommate and my niece left the main house and went to the guest house and a friend came over to watch a movie with us. The guy that was hanging out with my brother left and had his girlfriend call the police and say she was my niece and she was being raped in the guest house. The police came and left finding nothing as we were watching a movie. A month later detectives showed up at my house to question me I would not speak to them I am being accused of placing an add on craig's list saying I was my brothers friend and having people go to his work to meet him. My brother was told by the officers that they traced it back to my IP address and that I had motive to do something like this. I am still not talking to the police and I am remaining at my second home in GA. I need advice one what I should do at this point to ensure my name is cleared in this matter and I can return to my summer home with out worried of randomly being arrested for something I know nothing about.

Hire a lawyer. He can look into the details, and give you good advice based on the facts of the case. That begs the question why you would allow someone to smoke "weed" in your main house, and rather than telling him to leave, just go to the guest house. Also, if you have multiple houses as you state, it seems as if you would have already contacted an attorney about this, not just look for free advice here.
